A Walk in the Woods

Today, since it wasn't too frigid, Tom, Kyle, Rachael and I decided to take a jaunt over to the local wildlife center to feed the ducks. Unfortunately, (or fortunately if you're like me and HATE it when the geese attack you for your bagels!) there were signs proclaiming, "NO BREAD!" That's a change from when we used to go way back when but OK, no bread. Anyway we wandered around looking at the animals that are rehabbing at the center and then took the trail around the site.

Afterwards we found somewhere else where Tom and Rachael could feed the ducks, Kyle could pick the cactus spikes out of his fingers and I could sit in the car to keep warm!

Brrrrrr!

Molly, the Floridian, decided the cold was no match for her. After playing inside for a while she wanted to go outside. So she and Kyle bundled up and headed out for some soccer. They were out there longer than I would've been, or was for that matter! These are the shots I got in the 5 1/2 seconds I was standing on the front porch.
