God gave us an absolutely GORGEOUS day for Rachael's party with her friends and they all had lots of fun playing games, painting, doing crafts, playing on the playground and visiting the bunnies. It was a great day!

Pumpkin Pickin' and Pa's Birthday

This past weekend my aunt, uncle and cousin came down from "the north country" and we decided to do some pumpkin picking, corn maze-ing and hay riding. We headed out on Saturday morning on our way to Stakey's (or Stinkey's, or Stankey's if you're Anna). Stakey's had a bumper crop of lots of different pumpkins and everyone had a great time picking just the "perfect" one. Then Tom, Aunt Bernadette and the bigger kids (Katie included) decided to tackle the corn maze. The girls outsmarted the boys and beat them out of the maze. Meanwhile, Jackie and Rachael did some jumping in the bounce house. Then we all took a "hay" ride sans the hay- they removed it because it was slippery. Wasn't quite the same, I must say.

Afterwards we all headed over to Grandma and Pa's to celebrate Pa's birthday.


We tried to get all Pa's girls for this picture but Liv wasn't really into it.

Party Girl!

Today Rachael's friends came over for a little get together. I had a bunch of things planned but mostly they just wanted to play on the playground. We decorated some visors, played Pass the Parcel, Pin the Flower on Ariel, had lunch and cake, opened presents and ran around outside. She received a lot of great gifts and had lots of fun with her friends!

SARA!!! Just wanted to give a shout out to my cousin Sara on her birthday! Hope it's a great one! We love and miss you!

Micah on the high dive!

As mentioned in the previous post the kids had a great time playing in Aunt Donna's pool. I think, however, that Micah had THE best time. He almost gave his mother a heart attack but he was right in there with the big boys doing cannonballs and other fancy dives off the diving board. I also got a few good shots of Sam, Matt and Kyle on the board and of course some of Rachael being chauffeured around the pool.

Two Pancakes and a Princess

As many of you know Jesiah and Eliza had a birthday party this weekend. The "theme" was Pirates and Princesses. It was a brunch party and you could come in costume if you wanted. Well, we had one definite princess but two who didn't really want to be pirates.

So with the help of their very talented Grandma they became... pancakes!! All the kids had a great time at the party and I was able to get some pretty good shots. They had a big blowup, bouncy castle and Lissa was quite busy painting faces. They also had a blast in Aunt Donna's pool (that post will be coming later)! So, enjoy the pictures. BTW, Keira I would love to email you these pictures if you want them but since our computer meltdown I don't have your email address anymore!

SUPER SLIDE!!

Yesterday was Kyle's friend Corey's 10th birthday party. The party was at a cool place that has mini-golf, water wars, bouncy basketball and a HUGE blow up water slide. I was told that the slide is 3 stories tall. Well, Rachael decided that she had to go down that slide. Luckily (or maybe unluckily for those of you looking at the pictures) I had my beach bag in the car with my bathing suit in it. After climbing up a whole lot of steps Rachael had a few second thoughts about going down but down we went. She loved it and wanted to go back for more! After the party Kyle went home with Corey and they camped out in Corey's back yard with his dad and his dog, Cookie! Happy Birthday, Corey! Thanks for a fun day!
