Halloween

Here are a few shots from Halloween. We always get together at Grammie and Pa's with Cindy, Brian and the girls, Missy, Cindy's friend Jen and her son, and Kyle's friend Peter. This year we were joined by Tia, Olivia and Grandma, too! As you can see The Little Mermaid was popular with our trick-or-treaters. Not only did we have 2 Ariels, we had Flounder and even an Ursula although somehow I missed getting pictures of that(you can thank me later, Cindy!) :) Matt and Kyle sported some authentic costumes with Kyle wearing Uncle Steve's fatigues and Matt rockin a polyester leisure suit provided by Uncle Brian's great Uncles Joe and Bill. As usual we all had lots of fun trick-or-treating and hanging out at Grammie and Pa's!

Here are the rest of the photos.

Pre-School Halloween

This was supposed to go up yesterday, but due to Blogger being finicky it didn't. Anyway, this is Rachael's pre-school class at their Halloween party and parade. We had Curious George, Buffalo Bob the Builder, Cinderella, Barbie Princess and, in Rachael's words, a dragon.

Oh, and here's one of Matt in his first costume of the day. Thanks Aunt Cindy and Uncle Brian!

SCARY!

My Dad sent this to me and said I might want to use it on the blog. So I figured, "Why not". If you're family can't make fun of you than who can?
This one's for you, Jenn!

Halloween

We had a fun and busy afternoon. As you can see Matt came up with quite an interesting costume. Not bad for running downstairs to the dress-up box and throwing something together. We're not sure exactly what but it was something. The girls looked lovely in their princess finery and as happens so often, Kyle eluded my camera. You can see him in the previous post as a ninja.
After "trick-o-treaty" the boys and I headed over to church for the "Hallelujah Night" festivities.

*EDITED* Thanks to the wonderful Aunt Tia, here is a picture of Kyle!

And the Winner is...

KYWOL!!!
After the weather cleared up we attended the Halloween parade in town. There was a pumpkin carving contest and our very own Kyle won 2nd place in the Scariest 4-6th grade division! Way to go, Kyle! Special thanks go to Tom for running home to get the pumpkin and to Jenn for organizing the pumpkin carving party. Without you we wouldn't have had a pumpkin to enter!!
