Grandpa Kronimus made this bench out of the headboard of my childhood bed. It was a lovely shade of yellow and living in Mom and Dad's breezeway. I decided to take it to make it into a reading bench for Rachael. That was probably a year and a half ago. Before Christmas my mother-in-law(who's good for getting me to stop procrastinating) and I painted it white. Today I decided that the bench had mocked me long enough and as it was a rainy day Rachael and I set to work. Below are the finished results. Now all it needs is a cushion and we are good to go!

Graduation Day 2010

Today was Rachael's kindergarten graduation! My baby is growing up so fast! She also got a new hair cut today. Busy, busy!

Rachael's Dance Recital

This year's dance recital theme was "Night at the Museum". Rachael's group did a tap dance routine to "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". The girls did a great job!

30 Hour Famine Talent Show

The youth of our church held a Talent Show to raise support for their 30 Hour Famine which in supports World Vision's ministry of feeding the hungry of the world. This is a video of Rachael's and Matt's performances. Unfortunately mid-way thru Matt's song my memory card ran out of space. Enjoy!

My Soccer Girl

Rachael started her first soccer league today. We were part of this league for a long time when the boys were playing but have been out of it for a while now. We're back in but now with little pink cleats and socks! Fun!
