Ah, the zoo!

This past weekend we hung out at one of our favorite haunts- The Bronx Zoo. Tia, Ryan and Baby O met us and we spent the day walking and checking up on all the animals. Ryan was especially interested in the monkeys, giraffes, and chinchillas. The kids are vying for a tapir but at least we know THAT'S not going to happen. Rachael's favorite was the butterfly house and the Bug Carousel. It was a bit chilly but a really nice day, nonetheless.

I told Matt he should be very glad I only clean his ears!!

This is one tired Momma gorilla!

A Day at the Zoo

Kyle's class had a field trip to the Bronx Zoo yesterday. As our membership is due to expire at the end of the month Tom and I decided to take Rachael and meet the kids there. Here are the (by now pretty predictable) pictures.

Another Trip to the Zoo

On Thursday the kids and I, along with Aunt Connie, the Queen and the Prince, journeyed to the Bronx Zoo to meet up with the Mancuso family. After an uneventful trip in we had a very nice day, albeit quite a bit hotter than the last time we visited. The ride home was a bit more eventful but thanks to Aunt Connie's eagle eyes we made it! Special thanks to Aunt Connie for driving and to Jenn for sitting in the back with the boys for part of the trip!

And for any of you out there who may be a bit skeptical regarding the existence of the ever elusive TAPIR, here is irrefutable proof.
