We began our day in Epcot today. There aren't many rides per se in Epcot but there are some pretty cool things to do. We all (except Rachael) went on Soarin', which came from Disneyland in CA. It was a simulated hang gliding "ride" over California. The scenery was amazing and you really felt like you were flying. You could feel the wind in your face and even smell the citrus groves and the evergreen trees. The guys, sans Kyle, went on Test Track and loved it and then we all went on what we call the "dinosaur ride", another "dery, dery loud" event! After lunch Tom, Pa and Rachael went for their nap and Grandma, the boys and I went to Animal Kingdom for a ride on the Kali River Rapids, which we tricked Kyle into going on. We also caught a pretty neat parade and then met our nappers and the Mancuso family for a fun evening at the Rainforest Cafe. We even got "home" early enough to have a swim and catch the Epcot fireworks- seen from our hotel!

why did you have to trick kyle into going on the ride?
I am really enjoying these posts! It sure sounds like you all had a terrific time. Gotta say, I'm a tad jealous...
Kyle won't go on anything that might have a drop, might be fast, might be dark, might be the least bit scary in any way. So he was expecting that Grandma was going to stay with him while Matt and I went on the ride. He was scared but he lived and actually enjoyed it!
I'm glad some one enjoys the posts. I figure everyone is getting pretty darn tired of them but at this point I have to finish- if only for my own "journaling" endeavors.
