Jackie has Kawasaki Disease. It's this weird infection that makes your veins swell. It can cause heart damage if it's left untreated. She has been in the hospital since Friday and they have treated her. She has responded well to the treatment and now they have to keep her under observation for a couple of days. Usually, when treated, there are no adverse affects but it really stinks having your kid sick! Thanks for all your prayers!
Just got time to look at the blog and I want to thank everyone for their prayers. Our Jackie is back to herself, says her mom, and we are awaiting their return from the hospital. My littlest granddaughters may yet turn my hair GRAY!!!!! Thanks again!

(I know what you mean about the gray hair, but every one of these beautiful children is more than worth it!)
