Yesterday Rachael, Jackie and Kyle rode on the Rotary float in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Our High School Interact Club was hosting as many of the other Long Island Exchange students as could come for the weekend. We had our exchange student, Titi, and also Marius from Romania. The kids all marched holding their country's flag and another group of kids held a HUGE American flag. It was pretty cool to see all the different flags and all the kids dressed in their navy blue Rotary blazers which they decorate. Titi's jacket has lots and lots of different pins, some Halloween and Christmas decorations, an "I Love NY" license plate and some Mardi Gras beads that Rachael shared from her jewelry collection. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of any of the other floats but our float (and the WHB Brownies with Katie marching) had the cutest kids so I guess it's all good! :)
Titi is the one in the back with the St Pat's Hat on and Marius is the one to Titi's left with the black baseball cap.
