We had a very nice visit with Steve, Laurel and Julia as the beginning of our vacation trip. As you can see much of the visit revolved around the fire. The boys had a great time collecting firewood and helping Steve. He even let them use the saw and taught them how to whistle with an acorn. Thanks for a great time, guys!

Ah, yes. The fire pictures. Is Tom's sawing method safe? Looks a bit iffy and "Davidish" to me...
Julia has grown a lot and unfortunately I didn't get such a great picture. She is a real cutie! Rachael probably didn't appreciate that snack as much as you would have!
